Sanaa, Newsyemen, Najwa Ismail:

Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, launched a new campaign to embezzle citizens in its areas of control on Wednesday, under the pretext of donations to combat the Coronavirus.

The Houthi militia launched a donation campaign in the name of the Ministry of Public Health and Population under its control in Sana'a, under the slogan "Together we are stronger."

The militia leadership directed the various audio-visual and print media to allocate (Wednesday) in full to support the campaign and collect donations from citizens.

Meanwhile, officials at the Ministry of Health accused the militia government, of unrecognized, international organizations including the World Health Organization, of not fulfilling the Houthis' demands to provide emergency care tools for Corona patients.

They stated that they had asked international organizations to provide 1,000 respirators.

It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia imposed a series of illegal measures aimed at restricting the work of international and humanitarian organizations in their areas of influence, and practiced a long list of violations against aid workers, which prompted international agencies to reduce aid and suspend their projects in Yemen.
