Ma'rib, Newsyemen:

On Monday, the army and the popular resistance forces recovered sites from the Houthi militia and liberated other sites in the Hailan mountain range in the Serwah District, west of Ma'rib Governorate.

A field source said that the army and tribes launched an attack on several militia locations in Hailan dawn, and violent battles were made with significant progress.

The source confirmed the outbreak of violent battles between the two sides with various weapons that resulted in the army and tribesmen regaining several locations in Hailan, who withdrew two days ago, and the killing and wounding of a number of militia members.

A field source reported, on Friday evening, that the army forces had retreated from two locations that had been exposed to a Houthi attack, in successive patterns, which cost a large number of its fighters, dead and wounded, to reach them.

The source added that today military units and tribesmen continued their progress in the mountain range and were able to liberate sites whose importance lies in securing other sites of strategic importance located in the northeastern part of the mountain.
