Houthi attack, Al-Durahimi, and women were wounded by shelling on Hays

The joint forces thwarted a night attack by the Houthi militia on the Al-Durahimi district south of Hodeidah on Wednesday evening, and three women were wounded in the center of the Hays district as a result of Houthi shelling with missiles.

Military sources said that the joint forces thwarted an attack on their sites east of Al-Durahimi, and they fought with militias for violent clashes that lasted for hours and used various types of heavy and medium weapons.

It added that the heroes of the joint forces were able to deliver painful blows to the militia members, which resulted in heavy losses in lives and equipment, while the rest of them escaped.

 The Houthi militia launched a violent bombardment with various types of machine guns and artillery shells towards residential neighborhoods in the center of the city of Hays and wounded three women Wednesday evening.

Local sources reported that the Houthi militia bombed with automatic weapons and mortars, separate neighborhoods in the city's densely populated center.


 The sources confirmed that the Houthi shelling targeted two homes in Ruba Al-Souk and Ruba Al-Hadrami neighbourhoods, and that three citizens were wounded with mortar shrapnel that targeted their homes.


 The bombing caused panic and fear among citizens, especially women and children.
