A US drone raid on an al-Qaeda target in Marib

Human rights activists said that the American air force launched a raid that it believed it targeted al-Qaeda targets on Saturday.


According to activist Ali al-Nasi, a US drone aircraft launched a raid on a target in the vicinity of the home of the tribal leader Ali bin Hassan Gharib in Al Shabwan area of Marib.

Meanwhile, Al-Islah media reported that a Houthi ballistic missile targeted the house of the leader of the resistance, Ali Hassan al-Gharib, located in Al Shabwan area in Wadi Ubaida, one of the areas where al-Qaeda operatives resided.


According to corrective media sources, the shelling resulted in injuries and property damage.


Informed sources said that the authorities affiliated with the Islah party prevented media outlets from filming, except for the party's media, including the Suhail channel.


In the context, the government media did not publish news of the ballistic missile launch.

The official authorities in Marib, the Yemeni government, or the American side have not issued any statement or statement about the incident so far.
