Hadhramout : closing all popular markets in the valley and the desert

A meeting held today, Sunday, in the city of Seiyun, Hadhramaut Governorate, approved the closure of all popular markets in the sprawling valley and desert directorates and tightening control over manipulators with basic commodity prices.
The meeting, chaired by the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for Valley and Desert Directorates Affairs, in the presence of general directors of the directorates, discussed a package of precautionary measures to prevent Coronavirus Covid 19 after discovering a confirmed case in the Hadhramaut coast, as well as an assessment of the conditions and nature of the regions and the reflection of decisions that do not conflict with the interests of people.
He also discussed practical steps to familiarize citizens with ways to deal with cases of suspicion, as well as spreading a culture of restraint, adherence to directives issued by health authorities, promoting a culture of hygiene and moving away from gathering places to preserve their safety.
The provincial governor issued directives to directorates of directorates to assign a joint team of industry, commerce and public works to field the markets, arrest violators, stop them, and refer them to the concerned authorities, calling for work as a team and harnessing all available capabilities in following up the progress of precautionary measures and monitoring any gaps that may cause the spread of the pandemic.
