Houthi militias in Hodeidah have resumed house expropriations for their militants

Militias began about two years ago, inventory and numbering of homes and residential properties belonging to the displaced and those fleeing from the war, and militants and militia supervisors have already seized dozens of homes.

Local sources said that the militias have re-formed and activated committees to confiscate empty homes and those whose residents have been displaced from, and have not returned yet.

Militias use the district leaders, supervisors and militants in neighborhoods and residential squares in the districts of the city of Hodeidah for inventory and numbering and preparing lists of homes, as a prelude to distributing them to their elements and what they call Mujahideen, as they are armed from Saada, Sanaa and Amran in particular.
