The "Southern Resistance" thwarts the largest scheme of the Houthi militia in Dhale’

A southern military source revealed exclusive details of the failure of the joint southern forces units, a large militia scheme, east of the Husha Directorate in Dhale’.


The source said, according to the media center of the front, that the Houthi militia mobilized a small number of fighters and send them to create new military barracks in the mountain of Al-Masyuh, Al-Thukhab and the Al-Qasha square, on the western borders of Hajar and the Directorate of Qutaba.


The source pointed out that this step taken by the militias comes with the aim of impeding the progress of the joint southern forces towards the Al-Mishwas camp and the strategic Al-Husha mountains west of Al-Dhale’ governorate.


The source confirmed that the joint southern forces units monitored the militia movements from the first sight, strengthened their presence on the front lines of the burning fronts there, and dealt, according to the rules of engagement, with a number of field campaigns that the militias have carried out in the past few days.

In a related context, the joint southern forces units exchanged intermittent clashes with militia elements in the eastern Husha fronts, on Sunday, while the latter continued bombing the homes of civilians in the villages of al-Masharih, al-Meriah, and Quroudh west of the town of Hajar in al-Dhale’, using artillery, anti-aircraft and a number of other bullets.



According to the military leader, Colonel Waddah Al-Azraqi, a state of calm and cautious characterized the details of the atmosphere military position in the strategic "Jubb" front in Qutaba on Sunday, a situation that also characterize the atmosphere today in the positions of the forces of the "Fifth Brigade" resistance in the Al-Azareq front, southwest of Dhale’.



Al-Dhale’ fronts on the northern and western borders of the governorate have witnessed a relative change in the case of the military situation, which was accompanied by sporadic clashes and a state of extreme caution since daylight hours.


It is noteworthy that the continuous battles between the joint southern forces and the militia of the Houthi militia north and west of Al-Dhale’ are entering their second year, at a time when the intensity is increasing in light of the southern forces continuing their progress towards the city of Damt and Al-Oud in the northern direction, and Al-Husha and Mawya on the western borders of the province.
