Abyan Electricity apologizes to its subscribers for the blackout of power due to the lack of diesel

The Abyan Electricity Corporation expressed its deep regret to all those involved in the service in the Abyan governorate that the power was out, due to the lack of diesel.
The Foundation issued a statement, on Saturday, stating that it had made great efforts yesterday and today in following up in Aden to obtain diesel, but that the problem has become general and suffering from Aden and the rest of the southern governorates, and therefore the Abyan Electricity Corporation expresses its deep regret for this problem outside its control.
The Director General of the Abyan Electricity Corporation, Mahmoud Mukaish Mossa’bain, stated that there were efforts made by them as an institution, yesterday and today, to obtain diesel, but the problem was general and not only in Abyan, but Aden, Lahj, and other other governorates.
Mukaish added, they have repeatedly asked to give Abyan its required share according to the generators that are with the establishment today, but unfortunately it has not been responded to us according to the required need, as the amount spent for us daily is consumed on the same day, and stops the service because there is no reserve.
He demanded the government to quickly intervene and address this problem to relieve the suffering of our people in the southern governorates as a result of the high temperature, and to give Abyan its adequate share of diesel.
