The Houthi bomb was defused, a drone was shot down, and a civilian was wounded by bombing in Hodeidah

The joint forces defused, on Wednesday, an explosive device planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the Al-Jah line near the Ghulaifa camp, in the Beit al-Faqih district south of Hodeidah, the second of its kind in a week.

On Tuesday evening, a resident of the district of Al-Tuhita was wounded by the shelling of the Houthi militia on residential neighborhoods in the center of the district, and medical sources said that a citizen named Yasser Mohammed Obaid Al-Haddad (48 years old) was wounded by shrapnel with fire by the Houthi militia while he was in front of his house.  It added that the shrapnel inhabited his head and another in the back and the right side of the chest, and rescue forces of the joint forces took him to the field hospital in Al-Khokha. After first aid he was transferred to Aden due to the severity of the injury.

On Tuesday, the joint forces shot down a Houthi militia reconnaissance plane in the sky of the Al-Durahimi Directorate south of Hodeidah. A military source in the joint forces said that a Houthi reconnaissance plane was flying over the positions of the forces in Durahimi sky and members of the forces were able to shoot it down to add to its predecessors that the forces continued to shoot down and reached four planes within a few weeks, most recently on April 9.
