The arrest of a Houthi cell that tried to assassinate a security official in Al-Dhalea’s belt

On Thursday, April 23, 2020, a leader in the security belt in Al-Dhalea city was subjected to a failed assassination attempt in a serious incident that had been prepared in advance.
The leader of the security belt, Sheikh Walid, the deputy of Ahmad Qaid al-Qobba, was subjected to an assassination attempt, in Sana'a - Wadi Zureea, the circular line, the center of Dhalea.
During the attack, an escort of the security official, Soldier Anwar Saleh Al-Mukar, was injured, while one of the perpetrators was injured and the rest of the cell was arrested.
After interrogating them, it became clear that they were a cell belonging to the Houthi militia, and all of them were from the region of Zureea.
According to a security source, Commander Ahmad Qaid al-Qobba announced earlier that pardons and cells of Zureea people were pardoned and released from the security belt prison in al-Dhalea, but they did not respect the good intentions, and some of them returned to work with the Houthis, implementing the militia agenda, disturbing the public peace, and destabilizing security and stability in al-Dhalea.
