UAE Red Crescent inaugurates Ramadan Mir project in Yemen

On Saturday, the UAE Red Crescent Authority launched the Iftar Saem project in the cities of Hadhramaut Governorate, southeastern Yemen.



The project includes distributing 1,000 Iftar meals to the fasting and needy at a daily rate throughout the month of Ramadan.


 The project, which is adopted by 

the Emirates Red Crescent, aims to alleviate the suffering of the insolvent, and 30 thousand fasting people will benefit from it during Ramadan.


 In connection, the field teams of the Emirati Red Crescent have started implementing the project in Ataq city in Shabwa governorate, with the start of the month of Ramadan.



The project includes distributing 600 iftar meals a daily to the entrances and exits of the city to benefit more than 20 thousand fasting people during Ramadan.


 In the context, the Emirati Red Crescent inaugurated the Ramadan Mir project in Yemen, under the direction of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.


 The Mir Al-Ramadan project will benefit 360 thousand people from needy and affected families in three Yemeni governorates, namely Aden, Hadhramaut, and Shabwa.
