A civilian and three gunmen were injured as a result of violent clashes between security forces and members of the League brigade, on Sunday evening, in the city of Taiz, central Yemen.
A local source said that violent clashes with light and medium weapons broke out between the security forces and members of the League brigade this evening in Jamal Abdulnasser Street and September 26 Street in the city of Taiz.
According to the source, the clashes resulted in the injury of a citizen and three gunmen, who were transferred to hospitals, and tension remains, and the reason for the clashes is due to the parties differences over the royalties of September 26 Street.
These clashes come after a relative lull between armed gangs and armed components completely under the control of the Islah Party in Taiz, during the past weeks.
