Al Houthi Militia adopts a new price to sell the home gas cylinder in Sanaa

On Monday, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Sanaa, adopted a new mechanism to sell the home gas cylinder to citizens
Local sources said that the Houthis have the intention to impose a new price on the price of gas that will be sold through stations and points of direct selling, for the price of the gas cylinder to be 6500 riyals.
According to the sources, gas stations and stores of direct sales points were available at the level of each neighborhood in the capital, Sanaa, and in all governorates, before the Houthis at the beginning of the year 2018 to hide them and monopolize the sale of their authorities and fabricate crises to revitalize the black market, which they run in secret.
The sources estimated the number of gas selling points on the black market in excess of 689 markets, from which militias earn more than a million dollars a week.
In an emergency meeting held today in Sana'a according to the description of the Houthi militia media, the meeting came out with the approval of a mechanism that requires provision of tens of pumps to sell gas to citizens with any amount they wish in Sanaa and a number of governorates.
It also approved the distribution of the gas material through direct sales points in all the directorates of Sanaa and a number of governorates.
The meeting comes at a time when the capital, Sana'a, and the Houthi-controlled areas are experiencing a suffocating crisis, due to the lack of domestic gas, and the price of domestic gas bears on the black market reaching more than 8500 riyals, with the Houthis continuing to manipulate through the district leaders by provision of gas in very scarce quantities.
Citizens addressed the news of the Houthi militia's emergency actions with great irony, wondering what was presented by this emergency meeting for the Houthi media to address this momentum!
