Clashes resumed sporadically this evening, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the Hajar-Masharih axis, Al-Husha district, northwest of Al-Dhalea, as an extension of a fierce battle that intensified in the morning and continued until noon, and the southern forces made great progress and liberated a number of important sites.
The joint Southern Resistance brigades carried out a qualitative and speedy military operation in the Al-Masharih area, which was succeeded.
The clashes erupted, at dawn on Tuesday, the forces overran the defenses of the collapsed militias, and the joint resistance brigades launched a violent and sudden attack on the Houthi militia positions, amid heavy fire cover.
According to a military source, the operation culminated in success and achieved a great victory, consisting in the liberation of more than 9 locations that the militias used to snipe and bombard the villages of Masharih and Hajar.
Adding: Houthi militias withdrew from the areas of Al-Thafar and Al-Thukhb and its surroundings, and the supply line for the militias was cut towards Habil Yahya to Al-Husha, and the Houthi enemy suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment.
The southern forces expanded their operations and strengthened their field progress northwest of Al-Dhalea and liberated new sites as progress continued after the liberation of important sites early this morning. Sabah announced via Newsyemen the liberation of lakmat of Al-Qilah, Lakamat Dhofar, and the entire area of Thukhb.
