Houthi militia kidnaps 30 young men in Dhamar within one week

Human rights sources in Dhamar said that the Houthi militia, kidnapped more than thirty university youths in just one week in Dhamar Governorate, after they stormed their homes and took them all to unknown places.

A local source said that, since the beginning of last week, the Houthi militia carried out a large-scale campaign of incursions and kidnappings against dozens of university students in the city of Dhamar, without knowing the reasons for their kidnapping and storming their homes.

 It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia kidnapped the father of the journalist Abdullah Mohammed Al-Azzi and three of his brothers, one of whom was a minor, after they stormed their house in the Western Ring Road neighborhood and plundered its contents, and then transferred them to an unknown location, and there is no confirmed news about their fate until this moment.

In a related context, the Houthi militia kidnapped, for the second time in a row, the Executive Director of Dr. Al-Musali Hospital in the city of Dhamar, Ali Ahmed Al-Abri from his workplace in the hospital and transferred him to an unknown prison.

 Houthi militias continue the campaign of arbitrary arrests and kidnappings against citizens in the Dhamar Governorate, as the number of those who were kidnapped in Dhamar Governorate since its control of the province reached about 2300 civilians, according to the report of the Inclusion of Media and Human Rights.
