Today, the transitional council announced a number of measures taken after cases of Covid 19 were confirmed in the capital, Aden, including a 24-hour lockdown.


In a statement issued by the spokesperson of the Southern Transitional Council, Nizar Haitham, the media said, "The total lockdown (24 hours) begins at 12:00 after midnight Wednesday for a period of three days."


 The continued total closure of all qat markets in the capital, Aden, and the southern governorates, and prevents its entry and sale inside and outside the cities.


Close the major shopping centers "malls" for two weeks, except markets of food, groceries and vegetables.


 Restaurants remain closed for two weeks and only take away is allowed.


 The closure of mosques and the prevention of congregational prayers for a period of two weeks, and urged scholars, Sheikhs and imams of mosques to help in educating people about the need to adhere to the prohibition measures.
