Ramadan for the "escalation and recruitment" of Houthi in Hodeidah

The Houthi escalation in Al Hodeidah continues in two tracks, shelling and military operations, and mobilization and recruitment operations in the district directorates.


 Houthi militia brings increasing numbers of fighters from the Al-Marawah, Al-Qanawis and Zaidiya districts, north and northeast of Hodeidah, to the governorate center, through its supervisors and local researchers. Recruits Abu Ali Al-Kahlani, the Houthi security director in the governorate, receives before redistributing them to the fronts of the coast, in a program of mobilization that continues during days of Ramadan.



In the countryside of Zabid District, the most militarized and southern district for Hodeidah recruited by the militias, forced recruitment operations continued through supervisors and local commanders, urged to the Al-Taluhita and Hays fronts, with parallel and similar activities in Jabal Ras, in addition to a training camp that continues to receive and train new recruits and subjecting them to extensive training before pushing them to the coast fronts.



On the ground, militias resumed bombing and targeting in the city of Hodeidah, the Al-Durahimi district and Al-Jabalia area in Al-Tuhita, south of Al-Hodeidah, the day after confronting the Houthi attack east of the Al-Durahimi district.


 Field military sources reported that the Houthi targeting operations targeted separate areas of the Al-Durahimi district that the militia fired heavy 120-mm mortar shells violently and opened fire with medium-caliber 14.5 and 12.7-caliber weapons.


Adding that the militias fired their weapons towards areas east of the city of Al-Saleh, using medium machine guns 14.5 caliber and weapons 12.7 caliber and a pica rate in separate hours on Sunday.


 The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, targeted residential villages and citizen farms in the mountainous region with mortars and RPGs, and also opened fire with their 14.5 and 12.7-caliber machine guns, the Pika rate and snipers.
