The commander of the southern resistance survived an assassination attempt in Aden

On Thursday, the leader of the Southern Resistance, Abdulnasser Baawah, survived an assassination attempt near the market of the residential city of Inma, in the center of the temporary capital, Aden.


Local sources said that the convoy of the leader of the Southern Resistance, Abdulnasser Baawah, known as "Abu Hamam", was exposed to a hail of bullets by unknown persons on board a civilian car.

The shooting resulted in the injury of one of the escorts, who was taken to a hospital, and Baawah was unharmed, according to the sources.

According to the sources, the investigations are taking place in tracking the car.


The leader of the Southern Resistance was on a mission to visit a number of vital economic facilities and health facilities to uncover manifestations of corruption in them and submit reports to the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council to deal with them.
