Thwarting an imminent Houthi attack on liberated areas north of Al-Jawf

The National Army and the Arab Coalition thwarted an attack that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, had been planning to launch against strategic sites in Jawf.


A military source said that the Saudi national army and aviation forces thwarted an attempt by the Houthi militia to prepare for a large-scale attack aimed at controlling al-Yatma area, the Khanjar camp, the Muhamasheh area, and the Al-Wajf district of Khub Al-Sha`f, north of Al-Jawf governorate.


 The source added that large crowds of militia members were monitored during the past week in the eastern Sarhan and Al-Hajla regions, and were targeted by coalition aircraft with precision strikes.


The source confirmed that the aviation carried out a large number of accurate air strikes during the past four days targeting huge crowds belonging to the militia, weapons depots, vehicles and military groups in large numbers in the areas of Sarhan, east of the market of Al-Thuluth, the mountains of Al-Hajla, the Silila Mountains chain, and Al-Wajf in the Directorate of Khub Al-Shaf north of Al-Jawf, in which the militia suffered huge losses and killing It has dozens of its elements, including leaders.
