The UAE continues its efforts to save the stranded Yemenis

For the third time during the month of Ramadan, the United Arab Emirates today, Sunday, returned a number of Yemenis stranded outside Yemen due to the conditions of quarantine, the global embargo and the suspension of air traffic, as part of the countries’ precautions against the Corona transmission.


Today, the sources said, "The Emirates returned 65 Yemenis, bringing the total of those who returned them inside 115, in addition to 30 Yemenis who were cut off inside Yemen due to their inability to travel and return to their families and businesses outside Yemen."


 The Emirates transferred the Yemenis to and from Al-Rayyan Airport during the past two weeks, after all the procedures adopted internationally to ensure their safety from Corona pandemic, as they were quarantined in the Emirates with all relevant checks to ensure that they are free of the disease, before each of them returns to his family in the Yemeni provinces or abroad.



Faraj Al-Bahsni, the governor of Hadramaut, had confirmed receiving and bidding farewell to the stranded, thanking the United Arab Emirates for "taking over the care, care and shelter of the stranded Yemenis, and delivering them to their families in health and safety."




 Stressing that the procedures are carried out according to prior arrangements with the brothers in the UAE through official government channels, fulfilling all health conditions for them, establishing a quarantine, providing the necessary accommodation to them in the Emirates, and granting them a health certificate that they are free of the disease, before they are "transferred directly to Their governorates through means of transportation arranged by the local authority in the governorate in coordination with health offices in all governorates to which the returnees belong.
