Dead and wounded in an armed ambush targeting brotherhood reinforcements in Al-Muhafed

Today a number of people were killed and wounded in the ranks of the Muslim Brotherhood, following a tight ambush carried out by the Southern Resistance in the Al-Mahfed district of Abyan Governorate.
Local sources and eyewitnesses told "Newsyemen" that the resistance carried out an armed ambush of reinforcements of the Muslim Brotherhood's militias in the Al-Muhafed district, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
The sources said that the Brotherhood's militia was coming from Shabwa Governorate in the "Al-Jaraa" area, which led to two coups and the killing and wounding of the militia.
The sources indicated that the militias returned to the city of Ataq after being ambushed.
The governorate of Abyan witnessed, three days ago, the fiercest clashes between the Muslim Brotherhood's militia and the Southern Transitional Council in the area between Sheikh Salem and the coastal city of Shuqrah, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries on both sides.
