Sana'a, Newsyemen, private:

Yemeni doctors in the capital, Sanaa, warned of the dangers of people returning during the Eid to their villages and regions, especially those that are still recovering from recording cases of infection with the Coronavirus.

Recommendations and advice in this regard stressed the need to take serious and strict precautions that prevent or at least limit the flow of thousands of citizens from endemic areas to Yemeni provinces and rural areas away from the outbreak centers and cities infected with the virus.

The intensive care consultant in Sanaa, Dr. Fahim Al-Abssi, stressed in one of the most important recommendations and advice: "People of the cities, do not travel to villages on Eid, do not transfer the epidemic to the poor and the poorest."

With the absence of responsible authorities, effective preventive programs, and procedures and policies to contain disease and epidemic outbreaks, the importance of individual initiatives and specialized recommendations launched by consultants, doctors and specialists, to help society reduce the expected losses.

Daily leaking incidents highlight the Houthi militia's security dealings with those infected with the virus or suspected cases of slow execution. The people in Sa`wan, Sanaa, say that the Houthis threw a relative of them suspected of contracting the virus in a school with others without any health care and treatment, and that they do not even get food, blankets and mattresses.

The crackdown by the Houthi authorities contributes to a large extent to withholding information about the catastrophic situation as a result of the outbreak of corona in Sana'a and the governorates controlled by the militias, including Ibb and Dhamar, according to information and monitoring of the Associated Press.

"The Houthi rebels in power are campaigning to suppress any information about the scale of the Coruna epidemic, amid doctors talking to the agency about increased injuries and deaths," she said.

Doctors and other officials say that the Houthis have refused to disclose the results of positive tests, and have intimidated medical personnel, journalists and families trying to talk about the cases. Local doctors and health officials said they believed many people were dying because of corona in their homes, without documenting this.
