The head of the General People's Congress branch in Hajjah Governorate, Sheikh Fahd Dahshouche, said that the Brotherhood fronts did not fire a single shot to break the siege of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, imposed on Hajur.

This came in his response, Dahshoush, on his Facebook page, to Sheikh Hani Bin Brik, who stated that Hajjour had remained for months seeking support and not a single faction of the Muslim Brotherhood’s legitimacy had sought to save it.

"I am not in favor of secession, but respecting the facts as they are," Dahshoush said, "according to the epic of the immortal Hajjur. From the chapter of the historical trust, I bear witness that you, the southerners and the leadership of the Amalekite brigades, agreed at the time to send 3 brigades of the Amalekite forces to lift the siege on Hajour."

He explained that this was in place of the Republic’s guards, some of whom were sensitive during the battle, and even the southerners committed themselves to bear the full costs and transport of food and weapons to cover the pretexts.

He added that everyone was surprised by the rejection of flimsy claims and justifications, and persuaded us to send 8 other battalions grouped of Mahra, Hadramout, Naham and Al-Jawf.

He pointed out that it turned out at the end that this was a major lie and no one arrived and no single shot was fired to break the siege on Hajjur. This is the truth as it is, in reference to the Brotherhood fronts, which at the time claimed to have equipped 8 battalions to break the siege of Hajour
