The West Coast: a major escalation and confrontations that extended from Al Barh in Taiz to the Hodeidah regions

A military source said that the joint forces stationed in the Al-Barh axis, west of Taiz, on the western coast, fought violent clashes with Houthi militias, and simultaneously thwarted Houthi attacks, infiltrations, and reinforcements in Hodeidah.


The source said that the joint forces had broken an militia attack on Al-Barh Triangle and the Rasian Mountains on Friday evening.


 The source emphasized that the heroes of the joint forces fought violent clashes with militia militants of various types of weapons, and resulted in the killing, wounding Houthis members and caused great material losses.


It explained that the joint forces forced the militia militants to retreat and flee, leaving behind the bodies of the dead and wounded from their elements thrown into the valleys.


 In the west coast, south of Al Hodeidah, the joint forces demolished reinforcements of the Houthi militias, heading from Zabid, towards the Al-Tuhita front and Al-Jabalia area south of the district, on Friday.


The joint broke the attacks and attempts of Houthi infiltration in al-Jah Beit al-Faqih, Hays and al-Tuhita in a day that witnessed a major escalation of military operations, shelling and targeting in all areas of southern Hodeidah by the Houthis.

Newsyemen sources said that the militias had sent reinforcements from Al-Husayniyyah towards the higher Jah region.


 To this, the militias returned on Friday evening to target residential neighborhoods in the district of Al-Tuhita district with shells and automatic weapons.


 Also, various areas and sites in Al-Hodeidah city were bombed and targeted with artillery and machine guns.
