The Arab coalition aircraft participated in great effectiveness, while supporting the army and tribesmen in their response to a large-scale attack by the Houthi militia, on Sunday, which ended with severe human losses among its members in the fighting fronts, west of Ma'rib Governorate.


A military source said that the Houthi militia launched a large-scale attack on army positions in Najd al-Ataq, Bahrah and the strategic mountains of Silab, southwest of the Nehm district, which were confronted by stationed military units and tribesmen.


 The source confirmed the death of 30 Houthi elements, including field leaders, and the wounding of many others, most of them by coalition aircraft strikes, which participated strongly in the battle and hit Houthi military targets located on vast areas between the provinces of Marib and Sanaa.

The source added: The coalition fighters carried out about 15 raids targeting Houthi military reinforcements and mechanisms that resulted in the burning of 10 crews with human reinforcements on the militia that were en route to the battle fronts coming from the side of Sanaa;  In addition to the destruction of 5 Houthi combat vehicles that participated in the attack.
