Deputy Commander of the Security Belt in Abyan: We feel the danger of Corona and our bet on community awareness

The deputy commander of the Security Belt and Rapid Intervention in Abyan Governorate, Abdulrahman al-Shanini, said that his forces are sensing the seriousness of the outbreak of the Corona virus and are working hard to implement the curfew, and that the bet falls on the awareness of society
Al-Shanini began implementing a curfew for citizens in the Khanfar district, the largest district in Abyan, in order to preserve the safety of citizens from the Corona pandemic, epidemics and widespread fevers.
Al-Shanini told "Newsyemen " that the implementation of the ban comes as part of the belt forces' participation in taking precautionary measures to confront Corona, and that they are aware of the seriousness of this epidemic for the people of Khanfar district.
He added that the prevention of citizens ’wandering aims to impose social separation, as well as the closure of commercial and craft shops and wedding halls, and the prevention of any cultural, sports or political activity aimed at human gatherings in order to avoid any possible repercussions of the emerging Coronavirus
Al-Shanini pointed out the importance of the interaction of all the citizens of Khanfar and its environs and help in the success of the campaign, stressing the role of mosques, imams of knowledge and civil society institutions in preserving a path of social awareness aware of the seriousness of this global epidemic that has swept the countries of the world.
In a separate context, medical sources at the General Hospital of Al-Razi Hospital in the governorate of Abyan, southern Yemen, announced the death of a suspected case of the emerging coronavirus.
The sources added to "Newsyemen" that the sterilizing worker at the General Hospital of Al-Razi Hospital suffered from severe suffocation of breathing and was treated to the health quarantine in Zanzibar, after which he was transferred to the Al-Amal isolation centre in Brega, Aden, but he died there.
It is noteworthy that this second case suspected of being infected with Corona virus in the governorate of Abyan, after the death of the health worker in the emergency department of Al-Razi General Hospital a week ago.
