Dead and wounded in the militia ranks in an ambush of the Southern Resistance in Mahfad

Medical sources at Al-Mahfad Hospital confirmed that a number of wounded military convoy had been received, which occurred in an ambush of the Southern Resistance in a narrow area in the Al-Mahfed District, Abyan Governorate.
Medical sources added that the wounded were treated and transported to the city of Ataq, Shabwa Governorate, due to the seriousness of their condition.
The southern resistance had launched an armed attack on military reinforcements coming from the city of Ataq to the coastal area of Shakra in Abyan Governorate, in a narrow area in the Al-Muhafid district adjacent to Shabwa governorate.
Informed sources told "Newsyemen" that the southern resistance carried out an armed ambush of a military convoy on its way to the coastal area of Shuqra.
The sources added that the ambush resulted in the death and injury of members of the Muslim Brotherhood's militia coming from Marib, and two locomotives carrying ammunition were destroyed and were accompanied by 6 military crews.
