Al-Durahimi health centers receive dozens of febrile patients and its director appeals to organizations

The director of the Al-Durahimi Directorate, Fouad Makki, appealed to the humanitarian organizations working in the West Coast to provide health centers in the district with medicines and medical supplies due to the spread of febrile illnesses among citizens.
A Newsyemen correspondent reported that the health centers in the district receive dozens of people infected with dengue and malaria every day due to the spread of mosquitoes.
Quoting a health source in the directorate, he said that the Al-Shujairah center was the most visited health center for patients, as more than thirty casualties are visited daily, due to its proximity to the large population centers in the directorate.
He explained, that the center of Al-Taif was in the second order in terms of its intense reception for patients with fevers, followed by follicle, penis, elderly and the scene, with more than one hundred patients with fevers only per day, unlike other conditions.
The health centers, which are the lifeblood of the directorate, suffer from intensity that exceeds its capacity and available capabilities.
