The coalition drops two drones launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia

Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Forces for Legitimacy Support in Yemen, said that the coalition forces were able to intercept and shoot down two drones fired by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia towards civilian objects in the city of (Khamis Mushayt).

Colonel al-Maliki explained that Houthi militias continue to violate international humanitarian law by launching drones and deliberately targeting civilians as well as population gatherings, which threaten the lives of hundreds of civilians.

 Colonel Al-Maliki stated that these hostile and terrorist acts using drones are a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law, and confirm the rejection of the ceasefire and de-escalation initiative announced by the coalition and started on (9 April 2020) and there was no response by the Houthi militia, as it reached the violations totaled more than 4455 violations, using all types of light and heavy weapons as well as ballistic missiles.

On the 27th of last month, Colonel Al-Maliki announced that the coalition forces were able to intercept and shoot down drones launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia towards civilian objects in the city of Najran.
