The Journalists Syndicate mourns al-Qaiti and demands an investigation into the crime of his assassination

The Yemeni Journalists Syndicate, in a statement, mourned the photojournalist Nabil Al-Qaiti, who was assassinated on Tuesday, in front of his house in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Al-Qaiti, who works as a photographer and correspondent for Agence France-Presse and a number of other media outlets, was the subject of an assassination attack, carried out by unknown armed men.

The Press Syndicate described the incident as a tragic tragedy, calling on the security authorities to expedite the investigation, uncover the perpetrators and refer them to the judicial authorities.

In the statement, the union offered condolences to the family of the martyr, and he was born in the city of Aden in 1986, the district of Dar Saad, married and had two children, Sarah 7 and Retaj 6 years.

Al-Qaiti is considered one of the most important journalists and young photographers who traveled between Marib, the West Coast, Aden and Abyan to cover the most important events that occurred during the last period.

Al-Qaiti started his work in the year 2007 in Al-Ayyam newspaper, then moved to YouTube through his own channel, after which he contracted with the French Press agency.

It is noteworthy that the French agency honored journalist Nabil Al-Qaiti in the year 2015 after his movie "Battle of Aden", to the final stage in the global competition "Rory Beck", for the best video photographers in the world.
