The head of the Yemeni Organization for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings attributed the reason for the suicide of the girl was the restrictions by the Zaiynabiat, and preventing her from communicating with her family, and other abuses."

He explained that she was imprisoned while she is under the legal age and information indicates that there are more than twenty prisoners who are still in prison and their ages are under the legal age.

To that, Al-Arabiya TV quoted Yemeni human rights sources as saying, "The female prisoner who was said to have committed suicide was only a few days before her release from prison, due to the unclear circumstances of her cause," and the sources reinforced doubts about the suicide story, and suggested that "Zainabiyat al-Houthi" are behind this crime.

Those sources asked: "Is anyone close to the time of release from prison get killed so that all secrets die and die with them?! To save Houthi from the crimes of genocide and physical liquidation in Sanaa prisons, this is a question and an appeal to human rights and legal activists."
