Imran, Newsyemen:

The number of coronavirus victims in Imran Governorate, (north of Sanaa), has risen to more than 10 deaths, as a result of information verified by multiple sources.

According to local sources, eyewitnesses and close relatives of the victims, these facts were recorded during the last days of Ramadan, the days during which the Houthi militia was busy imposing and collecting financial levies on the residents of Imran Governorate.

The sources suggest that the pandemic was transferred to Imran Governorate through contacts of residents of the region, in connection with the brothers Jamal and Bandar Salih Al-Qatar, electronics dealers in the Sha'oub region - who died of the Coronavirus in late May.

In this context, the sources indicate that dozens of young workers and dealers with the shops of the brothers Jamal and Bandar Al-Qatr, from the regions of Hamdah and Ghoula Ajib, Imran governorate, put themselves in a quarantine house, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of others, after the news of the death of the electronics dealers.

The Houthi militia in Sana'a was satisfied with keeping the incident secret, closing the shops and spraying its surroundings with water mixed with chlorine, transporting the bodies of the two merchants and burying them in a frightening manner in Imran Governorate, without opening a comprehensive investigation or following up with the contacts with them from the merchants and customers.

Following the burial of the two bodies, the Houthi militia called on merchants and sheikhs in the district of Raida and the Hamda and Imran region in general to give and donate to confront the Coronavirus, in a manner similar to the mobilization procedures of the fronts and protest.

According to the sources, the health authorities in the governorate have been unable to provide sterilizers and immunological foodstuffs to dozens of young people who are in contact with the two cases and who have taken the initiative to put themselves in a domestic quarantine.

In light of the prevailing indifference, citizens in Imran governorate wondered about the fate of the support allocated to confront this pandemic? And the possibility of facing the epidemic by sending water mixed with ten liters of chlorine, and spraying in random directions accompanied by taking promotional pictures?

About 10 days after the burial of the bodies of Jamal and Bandar Al-Qatr, separate local sources and relatives of the victims reported the death of Jihad Al-Mansouri, from the Imran governorate, who is believed to have been infected with the epidemic in Saada, the death of Sheikh / Abdul Karim Yahya Al-Sili, Al-Ashmour area, and the death of Muhammad Al-Ghubari ( Hamda region - to which Jamal and Bandar Al-Qatr belong.

In the same context, local sources in the Directorate of Thebain in Kharef District, monitored the death of Muhammad Abdo Saleh Taher, and the injury of 2 others from the same area, and 5 people were infected from the Al-Madan area, sources believed that they died after the Houthi militia stressed the families of the victims by preventing the holding of consolations or announcements the deaths as suspected cororna infection.

Staff from Imran governorate and tribal figures noticed an increase in deaths due to the Coronavirus in their areas during the days of Eid Al-Fitr, stressing the outbreak of the pandemic there and the absence of any role for what is supposed to be official authorities, calling on citizens to take the necessary preventive measures to maintain their safety and the safety of their families and people as a whole.
