Al-Mocha, Newsyemen, private:

A patient in the Mocha field hospital died today, Tuesday, from being infected with the Coronavirus, according to doctors and hospital staff.

The 30-year-old reached the emergency room with difficulty breathing, and then died immediately.

A doctor suggested that the patient had suffered from the symptoms of the virus long ago, and that he had arrived at the hospital in its late stages.

The body was placed in the emergency department, where the section was evacuated from doctors and nurses, pending its transfer to the burial.

The death created a state of confusion among the medical staff, who was dismayed by the possibility of transmission of the disease.

A general sterilization is awaited for the hospital, but one of the workers said that this should follow the evacuation of the dead body from the hospital.

The two hospitals, field and public, in Mocha suffer from a severe shortage of safety facilities as well as oxygen tubes that are brought in from the city of Aden, which urgently requires the operation of the oxygen plant.

One doctor blamed the World Health Organization, which is supposed to provide safety measures for medical personnel.

Regarding the oxygen tubes, he said that the available quantity is sufficient to receive the suspected cases, explaining that the fear is that the number of cases has been doubled more than expected.

He said that the suspected cases are transferred to an Anqrah in khokha, indicating that a few cases have died in the past days, elderly people without clarifying whether they have symptoms that match the symptoms of coronavirus infection.

He emphasized that it appears that there are many cases of infection, but the lack of a PCR device complicates the task of diagnosing pathological conditions.

One of the doctors working in the field hospital in Al-Mocha, and one of the soldiers, had symptoms similar to Coronavirus.

The doctor was transferred to the medical detention center in Annarah in Khokha, as his health condition improved, while the soldier was transferred to Aden.

But private sources told Newsyemen that this is a precaution, until the PCR scanner, expected within days.
