Abyan, Newsyemen:

The press spokesman for the Abyan axis, Muhammad al-Naqib, said that Brotherhood militias operate in the manner of ISIS and al-Qaeda elements in using civilians as human shields.

Al-Naqib added, on his Facebook page, that Brotherhood militias tried to use the agreement to open the way for pedestrians by inserting their elements between pedestrian vehicles in the general road linking Shuqra and Sheikh Salem, in the hope of opening advanced fire.

Pointing out that the early arrest of the southern forces thwarted this terrorist method by exterminating those terrorist elements as soon as the vehicles passed.

Commenting on this method, Al-Naqib described: "This behavior is terrorist, a war crime, a blatant violation of the laws of war and a new crime against civilians that Brotherhood militias have committed unabated since their brutal aggression in Abyan province.

Regarding the combat operations, tAl-Naqib said: "From morning until evening, the Abyan front witnessed intermittent clashes with heavy and medium weapons."

He added: "Our southern armed forces, in their response to the fire of the terrorist Brotherhood of the enemy militia, have successfully executed painful strikes targeting a number of terrorist militia concentration points and their source sites of fire."

In addition, eyewitnesses told "Newsyemen" that an intense flight of the Arab coalition flew over the skies of the coastal city of Shuqra in the governorate of Abyan, which is controlled by the Brotherhood's reform militia.

Residents of the city of Zanjubar and Jaar also reported hearing voices of warplanes flying over their city.

The warplanes' flight came after an exchange of artillery shelling between the southern forces and the forces affiliated with the Brotherhood's militia at dawn on Tuesday.

In the same context, the people of the tribe "Al-Bubakri Al-Kaldi Al-Yafei" walked a relief convoy of fighters stationed on the front lines in the Abyan governorate.

The convoy contains a number of trucks loaded with various foodstuffs in appreciation of the efforts of the heroes who give their lives the redemption of the homeland and bear the bitterness of the battle they are leading against the Brotherhood's militias.
