Four shells fell, on Saturday, June 13, 2020, in the city of Al-Tuhita, south of the city of Hodeidah, in western Yemen
Eyewitness testimonies confirmed that the missiles were coming from locations where the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, was concealed around the city of Al-Tahita.
Local sources said that two of those shells landed in empty areas in the city center, while two shells hit houses that the fire and militia shells forced their residents to leave in the Al-Balakamah neighborhood, northeast of Al-Tuhita city.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia, which surrounds the city of Al-Tuhita, began an unprecedented escalation by firing indiscriminate shells and heavy bullets at residential neighborhoods in the city of Al-Tuhita.
The latest bombardment came the day after a 60-year-old woman was injured by shrapnel of a mortar shell fired by the Houthi militia, early Friday evening, on a house in the city of Al-Tuhita.
