Sanaa, Newsyemen, private:

Dr. Wahaj Al-Maqtari, a consultant for critical medicine and intensive care, warned against the danger of summoning school students in Sanaa and the neighboring governorates, as he described a review of lessons and preparing for exams and then taking exams at the top of the epidemic pyramid of the Coronavirus covid19 in the country.

Al-Maqtari considered the Houthi militia's intention to conduct examinations for students of basic and secondary certificates in the middle of next August, an appropriate platform for "an epidemic explosion in society in every sense of the word."

He held the Ministry of Education, which is run by Yahya al-Houthi in Sanaa, responsible for everything that would result from calling students to schools "from the heart of epidemiological hotspots in society".

The doctor, Wahaj Al-Maqtari, considered that the classrooms provide the most suitable environment for the outbreak of the Coronavirus and said in a series of posts on Facebook that it is more dangerous than the market, as it is closed and the fact that students sit in it for long periods, not just passers-by.

He pointed out that the most dangerous of this is that "school students do not carry health awareness and responsibility, which makes us concerned about their adherence to the rules of health procedures throughout their time in the classes."

He said: "The danger is not only for students but rather the danger that they will transfer the epidemic to those who are older when they return to their homes."

Al-Maqtari strongly warned the students’ parents of school administrations that call the students during these days on the pretext of reviewing the curriculum and knowing the exam plan.

He said, "We are at the top of the epidemic and the presence of students whose level of health awareness is irresponsible and unreliable, and they come from different regions of society, to meet in closed classes is a real great disaster."

The Houthi militia in Sanaa had announced earlier its intention to end the academic year 2019-2020 and start preparing for the elementary and secondary public exams in the middle of next August.

Al-Maqtari considered the decisions to end the school year improvisational and improvised gambling consequences.
