The southern armed forces took control of the Special Forces camp, the last strongholds and camps of the Muslim Brotherhood militia in Hadiboh, the capital of Socotra.
The member of the Transitional Council, Salem Al-Awlaqi, said in a tweet, “The southern forces have controlled the camp of the Special Forces, the last strongholds and camps of the Muslim Brotherhood militias in Hadiboh Socotra, and control of all weapons, crews, and military equipment of the Brotherhood's militias.
The southern forces announced a general amnesty and began implementing the autonomous administration of Socotra.
The camp was taken over after a suffocating siege that resulted in the handing over of the Brotherhood's militia.
It is noteworthy that the camp, which was secured, is the last strongholds where the Brotherhood's forces were stationed.
