On Sunday, the Houthi militia managed to control most of the Qaniya front two days after it took control of the Radman district, north of Al Bayda, amid accusations that the Legislative Army leadership was colluding to take it down, despite the calls made by the people of the region to support them.

Field sources said that the Al-Aar mountains, Masouda in Qaniya, a region for Ghoul, Al-Falaq and Al-Domani mountains, west of Qaniya, fell, this morning, to the Houthi militia, with a large-scale attack that has not stopped since Saturday evening.

It was explained that the Houthi attack was from Jabal al-Falaq, west of Qaniya, in which Houthi groups were able to concentrate, in Ghoul, and cut the Qaniya Ramadan road, which contributed to encircling the rest of Qaniya and starting to overthrow it.

Sources added: After the army forces slowed down the situation, the Murad and Bani Abd tribes collapsed to the confrontation areas to restore the areas that had fallen and prevent further losses and stop the advance of the Houthi militia towards the districts of Abdiya and Mahlia, south of Marib Governorate.

And confirmed the outbreak of violent battles in Jabal al-Aar and Masouda in Qaniya, where the two sides exchanged control before the militia resolved the battle for their benefit and stationed on them, noting that there were dozens of dead and wounded members of Houthi and other captured in the battles of the mountains of Al-Aar and Masouda in Qaniya, headed by the inducted leader Muhammad Ali Al-Sawadi.

In return, a number of tribesmen fell as martyrs and wounded, mostly from Bani Abd and Murad, and accusations against General Ali Mohsen and Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Ali al-Muqdashi of instructing not to support the tribes and let them face their fate, despite warnings of the attack since the fall of Radman, last Friday.
