Aden, Newsyemen:

Yemeni political sources described ending the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood on Socotra as the end of Turkey's attempts to turn the island into a gateway to interfere in the Yemeni file, according to the Arab daily, Al-Arab.

The sources confirmed the existence of a link between the tensions witnessed by Socotra and leaders linked to Qatar and Turkey that worked to fuel conflicts and prepare for the tightening of pro-Doha control in the Yemeni government on the strategic island in the Indian Ocean.

Media officials and media activists from the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen renewed their attack on the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and accused them of collusion with the Transitional Council, and called for finding new options, including the creation of a new coalition in Yemen led by Ankara, and the establishment of an alternative military council for "legitimacy."

Political sources considered, according to the newspaper, that the return of campaigns to offend the Arab coalition and the threat of Turkey’s interference in the Yemeni file in response to the losses incurred by the Brotherhood project in Yemen is an indication of the expansion of the anti-coalition circle within the legitimate government and its institutions dominated by the Islah Party

The sources said that the participation of the Qatari and Turkish media in the attack on the Arab coalition over the events of Socotra, and the participation of prominent Yemeni political leaders in the campaign aimed at questioning the goals of the coalition, is a new attempt to extort political and dragging the coalition forces to clash with Yemeni components against the Houthi coup, led by the Southern Transitional Council, whose forces are participating in confronting the Houthis on several fronts in Saada, the western coast, and Dhale’.

On Saturday, a Yemeni government source launched an unprecedented attack on media belonging to the Arab coalition, after it published information about the background of the confrontations in the Socotra Archipelago and ended with the control of the transitional council over the city of Hadibu, the provincial center and all strategic sites within the governorate, including the building of the local authority and security management and other vital facilities.

In a news broadcast on the official website of the Yemeni cabinet, the government source called for the “coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to compel the transitional council to stop the messing, chaos, and aggression carried out by its militia and implement the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement.”

The Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, believes that addressing the imbalances within the Legitimacy Foundation will only take place by implementing the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement as an introduction to a comprehensive reform of the legitimacy structure, improving its political and military performance, reducing corruption and besieging the Qatar wing, and starting with a plan to improve services and organize the army and direct all military, political and media capabilities towards confronting the Iranian project in Yemen.
