The Houthi militia managed to take control of the Qaniya front today, Tuesday, after violent battles with the army and tribes.

Tribal sources said that the Houthi militia managed to take over the Al-Mutawa family, under the village of Al-Jarban and the Qaniya market, in clashes during which 6 of those of pro Houthis were killed by an army mortar.

According to tribal sources, the militia also managed to cut off the road linking Qaniya to the Mahlia Directorate of the Ma'rib Governorate, which led to the siege of the fighters from Bani Abd and Murad and some of Qaniya people and cut the line on any supplies to those still in the front along the line.

The sources accused the Axis of Al-Bayda forces of failing for five days and fighting on the outskirts of Qaniya and refraining from supporting the tribesmen with individuals or weapons.
