Aden, Newsyemen:

Yemeni politicians and activists condemned the fierce media attack launched by the Yemeni Brotherhood to incite and dissuade the editor-in-chief of "Newsyemen", the politician and journalist Nabil Al-Soufi, considering this a continuation of the series to suppress the voices of the people.

Politicians and activists held, in blogs on social media, the Islah Party (the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood) responsible for any risks to the Soufi and Newsyemen crew; where the campaign became very organized and smelled gunpowder.

The Deputy Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani bin Brik, said that the Brotherhood series continues to target and threaten journalists and media workers who expose their tricks and arms in the Al-Qaeda and ISIS organizations; where is their only tool to mute the truth.

He added, "Professor Nabil Al-Soufi will not be the last of those targeted."

In a post on his Twitter account, Ibn Brik urged all free journalists and media professionals to express their solidarity with Professor Nabil Al-Soufi and the Newsyemen family.

The journalist, Amin Al-Waeli, wrote: The size and quality of threats, which Nabil Al-Soufi gets, in various ways and means, are more and more dangerous than to be silent about them or underestimate by other, given their severity, immorality, extremism and hatred.

Al-Waeli explained that the provocative campaign, behind the scenes of partisan generalizations, and what it undertakes and implements consciously, viciously, debauchery, and the audacity to lie and falsify, the Brotherhood's cells, tools and labels, have become very organized.

He pointed out that the involvement of journalists and politicians with the stated incitement reminds us of similar campaigns that were exposed to Brigadier Adnan al-Hammadi or international photographer Nabil Al-Qaiti or others, asking the press colleagues to give any opinion or solidarity before a crime and loss of life occurs, when it no longer have any benefit or value.

Concerning Nabil's position, Al-Waeli said, “ I have never worked with someone honest, noble, with ethics and morals like him.

As for the activist, Abdulsalam al-Qaisi, he held the Brotherhood responsible for any harm to Nabil Al-Soufi and said: "This is a communication in my name and every journalist while Nabil is still alive. The great journalist Al-Soufi is subjected to a fierce campaign of incitement from the Muslim Brotherhood who killed the first noble (Nabil al-Qaiti), and they are trying to get rid of the other noble (Nabil Al-Soufi)

The sheikh of the tribes of Al-Bagheri Kald, Jamal bin Attaf, also declared solidarity with Nabil Al-Soufi and the crew of "Newsyemen" in front of terrorism, which only the creators of death can master in order to destroy the makers of life.

Ibn Attaf described the Brotherhood’s campaign as a catastrophe, as it came from those who once claimed to have gone out in a revolt against repression and for the freedom of the press.

In addition, the activist Mohammed Al-Shamiri considered the journalist Al-Soufi that he is the people’s voice to expose and combat warlords.

He continued, "My full solidarity with Mr. Nabil Al-Soufi and the Newsyemen news site, who are subjected to a campaign of deformation, incitement, and threat by the Brotherhood lobby and their activities."
