Citizens put out a huge fire at a petroleum derivative plant in the Hejdeh area of the Maqqbana District of Taiz Governorate, which is controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

A local source said to Newsyemen that a huge fire broke out at a station belonging to the researched leader Mahfouz Al-Khulaidi and was possible in the lantern, during the discharge of petroleum from one of the debt-laden oil derivatives sold on the black market, causing the station to fire completely with another car belonging to the station and a citizen's car.

The sources indicated that four citizens were wounded, including two station workers.

The station is located in the Hawas area of the Muqbana district, close to the Jabal Habashi Junction.

The fire comes at a time when the Houthi militia is storing large quantities of oil and gas derivatives for cooking among homes and shops, which caused a fire in a number of warehouses amid an acute crisis and a complete lack of petroleum products and domestic gas.

A few days ago, a similar fire broke out in a store of oil derivatives in a house owned by a Houthi leader in the Sinaina area of Sana'a, which resulted in the burning of about thirty neighboring houses and casualties among its residents.

A massive fire broke out at a fuel station in Saada governorate last week after the Houthi militia stored oil derivatives there.
