Initial sources reported that a number of people were wounded after armed clashes and heavy gunfire, on Friday evening, in front of the building of the Security Directorate in Ibb Governorate.
While some reported that the clashes came against the backdrop of a decision to change the director of research, Petran, others emphasized that it was the result of disputes between wanted persons and security personnel.
The sources added that the wanted men, estimated at 15, had been transferred by the Central Security Forces to the security administration against the background of a previous case.
The wanted men arrived with their personal weapons and when asked to surrender them, some of them refused to hand over their weapons completely, which led to the clashes.
Citizens from the same area reported that a number of ambulances quickly rushed to the scene, and the injured were taken to the hospital, amid great secrecy.
It is worth noting that Ibb governorate is witnessing chaos, lawlessness, killings, and widespread black market dealers.
On the other hand, citizens complained that the Traffic Department recently launched intensive campaigns to blackmail drivers, justifying this as individuals working without salaries for years.
