Aden / Mocha, Newsyemen, Amjad Qureshi and Samir Al-Absi:

Yemeni security officials have voiced apprehension that radical extremists would gain new areas to fight and expand, on both sides of the north and south of the country.

Two well-informed sources told NewsYemen, that security and intelligence services involved in anti-terrorism efforts and programs are sharing information about the increasing numbers of militants in fighting and pushing to ignite battles and confrontations in new areas, especially in the southern countryside of Taiz.

The warnings drew attention to the danger of igniting the adjacent areas of Taiz and Aden, similar to the ones actually at war on the opposite side between Shabwa, Abyan and near Aden.

"The danger this time is that the war arsonists are approaching more than ever before the Strait of Bab Al-Mandab and the vital shipping lane, which increases the risks to navigation, trade and maritime traffic, in addition to those represented by the Iran-backed Houthi militias" security intelligence sources said.

Tribal and local leaders, in the countryside of Taiz warned, on Saturday, during a wide consultative meeting, of the dangers and consequences of the military build-up of irregular armed groups to the region under an official umbrella provided by the Taiz axis, led by the Muslim Brotherhood, who receive support and funding from Qatar and Turkey.

The leaders also voiced apprehension that the region will slip into war in the most stable and calm areas of   Taiz.

Identical monitoring and security information were documented the appearance of wanted and extremist fighters on the black list and their access to a geographical movement area between Baydha, Abyan and Shabwa provinces.

It is not entirely far-fetched, according to the latest security warnings, that militants, AQAP and Yemen's ISIS elements will seek to take advantage of the widening tensions and flaming areas along the coastline that extends to the Bab El Mandab.
