A civil rights center based in the United States of America said that the Houthi coup militia issued a 10-year prison sentence against a 16-year-old child.

The American Center for Justice stated, in a statement on its Facebook page, that the Specialized Criminal Court in Sana'a, which is subject to the Houthi militia, issued today a court sentence of ten years, against the child Jamil Ali Qiami, and he also spent three years under police supervision after the end of the period of imprisonment.

The Houthi militia accused the child Jamil of working with the Saudi-led Coalition Support Alliance and charged him with communicating with a foreign country, Saudi Arabia, by raising the coordinates of the arms stores and locations of the Houthi communities, according to the indictment.

The Houthi militia kidnapped the child “Qiami“ in November 2017, and was hidden until May 2018, when he was referred to the criminal prosecution.
