The Houthi militia targeted by machine-gun fire residential neighborhoods in the Hays district of Hodeidah, a citizen was wounded and a house was completely burned.

A Newsyemen reporter in Hayes said that the Houthi militia opened heavy machine gun fire towards residential neighborhoods and separate places in the city and continued its deliberate shelling towards the village of Beit Maghari northwest of the city.

He explained, that the Houthi shelling with machineguns broke down on the dwellings and injured Hajj Abdo Mohammed Al-Nahari, who is 60 years old; he was shot with a 14-caliber bullet in his left shoulder, and he was taken to the medical point of the 7th Brigade Giants to receive first aid and then he was transferred to Al-Khokha Hospital.

He emphasized that the militias continued their deliberate bombing and opened fire on the residential gatherings in the village of Beit Maghari and penetrated the house of "Ahmed Al-Deek" and burned all the contents of the house, including furniture and everything inside.

In the context, a military source explained to Newsyemen that the heroes of the joint forces from the members of the seventh and eleventh brigades, giants, failed two infiltration attempts by the Houthi elements when they tried to approach the positions of the forces stationed from the east and northwest sides of the Hays front.

The military source stressed that the heroes of the joint forces incurred the elements infiltrated from the militia pockets, with heavy losses in equipment and lives, and forced them to flee, leaving the bodies of their dead and wounded under the trees and in the valleys.
