Broad condemnations of the Brotherhood's crimes against the people of Ba’aram in Shabwa

Sheikhs and residents of Shabwa governorate condemned the aggression of the Islah militias, the local branch of the Brotherhood, which was continuing in the area of Ba’aram.

They condemned the bombing of homes of defenseless citizens, with artillery, stressing that it was a barbaric military campaign.

They described the Brotherhood campaign as a gang crime and not a state’s actions, noting that the first incident of its kind in the bombing of civilians in the Mayfa'a Directorate.

Activists, media workers, social and tribal figures, and civil society organizations expressed their condemnation of the violations committed by the Brotherhood's militia against the people of the province in all districts.

They called on the people of Shabwa, to carry out their responsibilities in confronting the Brotherhood's militia and its terrorist acts, demanding the support of the children of Ba’aram in facing its violations and intimidation of children and women.

On social media, photos of the Muslim Brotherhood’s bombardment of the house of Muhammad al-Arz bin Rashid Abu Turki were hit by a rocket-propelled grenade, and its entrance in the Back area was destroyed.

At dawn on Thursday, Brotherhood militia crews stormed the area to launch a kidnapping campaign without any legal justification, which resulted in clashes between residents and the militia.
