The Houthi militia acknowledged the death of a senior commander and a military commander, with the rank of brigadier general, who had earlier reported that he had been killed on the Al-Dhalea fronts.

The militias recognized the death of the prominent Houthi leader, Brigadier-General Faraj Hussein Faraj Abu Hussein, one of two senior leaders whom the militias lost last week on the Al-Dhalea fronts, and the other, the so-called “Abu Jibril,” the Houthi Preventive Security official in Ibb.

The aforementioned officers from the First Armored Division were commanded by the current Vice President Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.

Faraj was killed on the Al-Dhalea front last Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in one of the battles that the joint southern forces are waging against the Iranian arm militias, and they incurred heavy losses and pushed them to the borders of Ibb Governorate, west of Al-Dhalea'.

Front lines are witnessing opposite movements on both sides of the fighting fronts in the north and west of Dhalea after a round of violent confrontations and the Houthis suffered double losses, which prompted them to bring in new reinforcements, while the joint southern forces destroyed military reinforcements for the various fronts.
