The Murad tribes made significant military progress north of Al Bayda

Tribesmen with the support of the Arab coalition aircraft, on Monday, controlled heights of strategic importance and inflicted heavy losses on Houthi militia in its ranks with a surprise attack between Al Bayda and Marib governorates.

Field sources indicated that the Murad tribes launched a surprise attack since dawn today at strategic sites controlled by the Houthi militia in the Rakhim front, located along the Mahalia district.

The sources confirmed the defeat of the Houthi militia from Aqaba and the liberation of strategic sites in its vicinity from the Houthi militia, including the field hospital, to the other, near the Qaniyah market north of Al Bayda, while progress is still continuing until the afternoon.

Coalition aircraft supported the attackers with several raids targeting militia assemblies, vehicles and fortifications in and around the confrontation areas, one of which resulted in the destruction and burning of the PMP vehicle.

It pointed out that the violent confrontations that erupted between the two sides resulted in dozens dead, wounded and prisoners of Houthi militia, while there were 13 martyrs from the Murad tribe as well as a number of other wounded.
