The local authority and the French Solidarity Organization launch a massive cleaning campaign in Mouzea

On Wednesday, the local authority of the Mouzea Directorate and the French Solidarity International Organization launched a massive cleaning campaign in the center of Mouzea Directorate located in the western district of Taiz.

Funded by the French Solidarity and the local council of Mouzea, the campaign targeted lifting piles of garbage, cans and plastic bags scattered across streets, neighborhoods and apartment blocks.

Hani al-Amiri, a representative of the local council, said that the campaign comes to remove these piles and move them out of the region in order to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics.

He added that the cleaning campaign will continue for four days, followed by a daily cleaning campaign to remove waste from the market and residential neighborhoods under the supervision of the Directorate of Improvement in the Directorate.

The Secretary General of the Local Council, Jamil Al-Masah, thanked the French Solidarity Organization and its humanitarian role in developing the directorate.

For his part, the representative of the French Solidarity, Abdullah Al-Dukhan, said that the cleanliness campaign comes in light of facing the epidemic of the deadly Coronavirus and in order to enjoy a dispersed environment clean of dirt and residues that distorted its beautiful face.
